Whenever a job aspirant applies for the job on your company website or on a job portal, he will first check out the title along with the job roles and responsibilities that will help him to decide that if he is capable and expert enough for the job applied or not.

Hence, it is very necessary for the human resource department of the firm to understand and follow the Importance of Job Description whilst hiring the candidates. And the job description has to define all the roles and responsibilities in the highly exhaustive and comprehensive manner to get the right candidates for the job interviews.

2) Justifies the pay package :

When the job description is exhaustive enough with the clear mention of the job roles and responsibilities, the employee is able to gauge the pay package accordingly. Many a time, the companies mention the annual pay package as well in the job description.

There is a decreased amount of insecurities and jealousies amongst the employees of the same department as well as inter-departments.

Hence, the main onus and responsibilities lie on the shoulders of the management of the firm to cultivate the work culture that is quite healthy and challenging in a good and positive way.
