There are quite many factors required to complete a specific task or job responsibility in a successful manner. All the tangible factors such as monetary rewards, awards, acclamation, and gifts to the employees during special events such as their birthdays, anniversaries, and during festivals such as Christmas and New Year’s have a significant effect.

And intangible factors such as appreciation for work, training and development, and giving challenging tasks and responsibilities to the staff add to the momentum. And all of it boils down to the main and the most vital factor that is motivation.

1) Enhances productivity

When the management of the firm realizes the Importance of Motivation it constantly strives to makes its staff valued and works on the efforts for their training and development. And this fundamental of the firm instills the feeling of motivation and being valued in the minds of the employees. And this results in the enhanced levels of productivity and work efficiency of the staff.

It has a two-way effect, being highly motivated employees complete their duties and responsibilities in the most efficient and effective manner that makes them learn new things expanding their horizons. Plus the management of the firm will be able to elevate its sales and profits due to the enhanced levels of productivity.

2) Retains the quality workforce

When the management of the firm gives equal levels of importance, value, and motivation to each and every employee despite the expertise and title, the overall environment and culture are quite positive in nature. And this has a cascading effect resulting in higher work efficiency, higher productivity, good interpersonal communication, and a positive environment in the firm.

This aspect helps the firm to come up with the product and service offerings along with the marketing and promotional techniques that are new, novel, and innovative in its overall approach. This also attracts the attention of the customers and helps the brand and company as a whole to add the feature of innovation to its list of aims and objectives.
