Pharma marketing can be strengthened by a three pronged strategy
1) Product – An unbeatable strategy. If your product is good, theres nothing which can stop your sales. However, in case similar products exist in your target market or competition is high, then the next 2 points are crucial
2) Distribution – You need the right kind of distribution in case u are operating in a competitive environment. The distributor in turn needs to give best incentives to retailers. You need to be aggressive in the market to push your product. Tying up with local doctors and other referrers to pays dividend.
3) Marketing – marketing paves the way for the above two. If the marketing, product, price is spot on, there would be lesser pressure on distribution.

By altering one of the above 3, you can increase the value of the product.
