The most laziest form of retail – Online retail comes in style with Myntra.com. Its good that Myntra has decided to go for ATL promotions and i am sure it will benefit from it. I wasnt aware of Myntra.com until i saw the ad. Checked out the website and its perfect. More then anything else, the website concentrates mainly on its product and it appears that it has given really good “shelf space” to its displayed product.
The ad is shot beautifully. It shows all the products with the models wearing the same. The surfboard raises some questions and curiosity. But in the end it forms the logo of Myntra.com and promotes sports wear which is showcased even on the website.
But the major problem is that the site takes a lot of time to load. This is not surprising considering the HQ images being used. But lets consider it that myntra.com will want to give the best consumer experience. and for that it needs an optimized site. There are some amazing features for the website – Sorted by gender, kids, brands. You can also sort by price and discounts. A shoppers paradise.
The site also has a sales promotion currently going on wherein you get 500 rs for signup. There is also 750 rs for connecting through facebook (which provides more eyeballs) and also you can refer and earn. Finally the transaction is secure which uses ICICI and just about any credit card out there.
The final thing left to test is the deliverability. Delivery time etc. If any of you order from Myntra.com do let me know how was the experience. 
Update – Thanks to Ashish (Bangalore) who responded. Myntra.com also delivers products within 24 hours so i guess it is going to be a really good online business to keep an eye on and to learn from it.
