Airtel is advertising its HDTV and how. The ad shows a scene from the Movie Kurbaan but creatively it shows the scene as it is in the original movie. Suddenly a boy walks through the door (playing with his football)and goes to his mom. Finally the camera zooms outwards and shows the mom watching Kareena on HDTV. And the Voice over says “Picture so clear, it feels as if the movie is playing in your home rather than on TV. Airtel HDTV”.
One of the things which i liked about the ad is the way they have mixed real life with reel life. Even when the kid is with the mom, theres no TV shown till the end of the ad thereby giving a feel of curiosity as well as of reality. Furthermore, i feel the score has been enhanced to better sound quality than the original movie thus affecting the customers immediately.
And finally the brand ambassador Kareena kapoor catches us with her fine acting. Definitely an ad which stays with you.
