Ferrari comes to India for the uber class

The growing class of India’s super rich will find it easier to source a Ferrari for them as the Italian Luxury Car Maker Ferrari launched its first dealership in India’s Capital. India is home to about 1.25 lakh dollar millionaires and this has caught the attention of Ferrari as it increases its focus on India after rating China as its fastest growing market. US, Germany, Italy and Japan solely contributed to about 90% of the sales, but the company is eyeing the China region comprising of China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan which have contributed to 600 units last year, with 300 units sold in China alone. India is the 58th country in the world where Ferrari is now present.

Iphone 4 to be launched on May 27 by Airtel and Aircel

India, the second largest market for telecom services after China with more than 800mn subscribers is riding the 3G wave as more and more number of customers want to savor the 3G experience. To complement this the Smartphone makers are also overwhelmed with this demand from the Indian customers an is optimistic about selling 12 mn smart phones in the county by the end of 2011. Taking opportunity of this riding wave, the country’s largest telecom services provider (By no of subscribers) Airtel with 162mn subscribers and Aircel with subscriber base almost a third of Airtel have announced that they would start selling iPhone 4 in the country from May 27.
